My vision gets blurry really quick when I try to read or am on the computer. I have only been at the computer for about 30 min I think and my eyes feel shot.

Yes I just think it something we are all going thru, since we all have diabetes. My eyes get the same way too, so I just take a break and come back later to the computer or book Im reading.

I had my eye Dr. make me a pair of computer glasses. They aren't expensive and it really helps. You need to know how many inches your nose is from the screen for them to make them right so measure at your usual position before going in. I still need to give them a few minuets rest after 30 min. but it really has made a difference.

I have the same problem. I have to take my glasses off and rub my eyes. Sometimes I just need to rest them for about fifteen minutes before I can go back to the computer.

Hi Turtle,
My eye doctor said that I should refocus on something distant for a few minutes when my eyes get blurry from reading or working on the computer. I never had the problem until I was diagnosed with diabetes. Hope this helps. :)
