I tend to test the same finger in about the same spot over and over. I learned my lesson. It abcessed. It hurt really really bad. Finally today the hard core surfaced and my finger is better. I have learned how important it is to test different fingers in different sites.

Big owie! I find that certain fingers work better too, and it is hard not to go to them first. My index fingers are the worst though! I test on the sides as well.

No kidding. I was taught to test right I just bleed easier at the one spot so I kept going there. I paid dearly for that mistake.

I prick on the sides as best as I can aim…lol.
