Hi Thomas,

I have a free ebook on what has worked for me it isn't about counting carbs which i think is a dead end but rather about how to control blood glucose with diet.

Instead of trying to tell you what we did I will give you a link to my site and ebook. The site is 1600+ pages and the ebook is 168 pages. I am not a medical professional, just another type 2 diabetic. My site and book is about what has worked for me. Some of what I have to say is contradictory to what the doctors and the ADA is saying but then what they were telling me to do was not working. The site is and the ebook is available by clicking the link in the upper right corner

for now thanks to all for your help.i have to slow down.i'm trying to comprehend too much at one time.i've been going to a nurse/diabetic expert for help too.she basically is monitoring my progress.she's legit.she works for my my surprise i'm actually doing good.she said the numbers are looking good.i was even wrong about my carb intake.i thought it was 195 per day when it's actually 209 per day.but with her help and the help of all of you i'll learn to cope with this.and somewhere in my computer i have an article about coping.when and if i find it i'll post it's actually an article about having too much information thrown at you at one time.anyway—thank you all.i'll be here.i'm just slowing down a bit.tom.

I just found all sorts diabetes eating info on prevention site. I don't know if i'M suppose to post this, but hopefully I can, it looks to be real interesting.

Hi Thomas and welcome.

This is the best site I've found for finding out calories, fat grams and carbohydrate grams in foods. They have a book too that I keep at home. You can either order it online or buy it at the book store. :) Hope this helps
