more good news my a1c was down to 8 that's still high but considering it was 11 something last time it is a definite improvement. my next hill to conquer is this stupid weight gain, i'm plumping up like a christmas goose.

Boy, you are doing GREAT!! It amazes me at how high someone elses' A1c can start at and how quickly it can drop—a lot—-and

mine just inches up and down, nothing spectacular My high has never been too high, I just learned that it was in the sixes——and now down to 5.8 or 5.9, doesn't sound bad to me, but my Dr was concerned, I think it started at 6.4, And yet, my daily BS can hit 236, still not high—-but it seems that there is still a little flaw in my system that definitely does NOT like peanut brittle and chocolates! Ok, Ok, I just had to try it and see!! NOW I know, just don't push it, Pat!! PR

great , any improvement is super I'm very happy for you, be aware weight gain can be due to 5 different things not involving food, I shared it on a previous discussion I started it was on the webmd site
