From time to time doctors do post here even if they are not affiliated with the site. Usually on any message board you will get a few pro's posting every now and again.

We do not provide medical advice. We provide a forum for people with personal experience to share with one another what has or hasn't worked for them personally. This has proven to be very beneficial for many of our members.

We do from time to time have a Certified Diabetes Educator answer questions from members of the site.

That being said, we are looking at ways that we can engage physicians and help them become part of this great community and open discussion and sharing of ideas. We'll keep you posted.

Thank you John, , I appreciate your quick response, I agree this is a fantastic site, my MDS was wondering who took the power of approval of the different suppliments, they sorta get upset when they approve something and a website counters their Professional integrety .. THANKS AGAIN!

You can tell your doc there is no way we would contradict his or her advice. All of the product reviews on the site are done by members (people just like you) that post their experiences with the meter, the CGMS, the medication, etc. We no way endorse or provide medical advice.

Thanks for the post. Always helpful.

That would be wonderful. That would be a way of getting a lot of questions answered that your doctor doesn't have time to answer for you when you go in to see him/her. I hope it will come to pass.

Frankly, other Drs opinions worries me, as they don't all agree and we may end up even more confused if they conflict with our own Drs opinions. PR
