I have been taking the pills for 14 years, well they stopped working admitted into hospital with 527 sugar level now I'm on the shots and my level STILL has not come down below 200 and I have not had ANY sugar and very little carbs since. So NOW WHAT?

I agree with all your new friends here, it does take time sometimes for things to get right. Im sorry you had to go thru so much to get to this point.

See your Doc or Call them
It takes time to get the meds right I know Been there done that .I had to make a lot of ajustments till I got it all down.

I agree with Jerry1423. It takes a while for you and the doctors to get the right levels of insulin. I know that from personal experience. You may want to discuss using a pump once you get more stable. I understand it is very helpful. Good luck and keep us posted.
