I thought the dr. would test me to see if I was diabetic but he didn't do that. He has been telling me I have thyroid problems and In May I had an Ultrasound done on my neck anways yesturday he looked at it and told me I have 2 bumps on my thyroid he gave me medicine because my heart beats fast and Later on I have to see a Indocrinologest I guess that how you spell it.I do feel relieved

My husband was diagnosed with a "low" thyroid and has been on medication for about 5 years. It's working for him and he has more energy. Good luck to you!

Hey Jenna -

Keep on top of the thyroid thing. Diabetes is considered a sister syndrome of thyroid disease, meaning if you have one - your chances of having the other greatly increase. I've been living with both thyroid disease and diabetes for 8 years now.

And a fun time is had by all!

Hi Jenna,

Glad to hear that things went well at the doctor. Just make sure you stay on top of everything. I am glad you are seeing an endochrinologist as well, that should put all the pieces of the puzzle together. Please let us know how that appointment goes.

Be well my friend.

I'm glad to hear that things went better than you were expecting. I have a lot of friends that had thyroid problems of one type or another, and they are all doing very well with just oral meds.
You will still be in my thoughts and prayers.
