I would recommend that you check out the 6-12-12 low carb program along with some mild exercise and even some yoga. The exercise and yoga comes recommened for your leukemia from the Mayo Clinic website. The low carb diet is recommended by Dr. Bernstein.

I have no idea but I suspect that a very healthy diet will help both conditions. Eat plenty of fruits, veggies, whole grains, reduce the amount of meat you eat to a handful a day. Good luck. My thoughts are with you.

I don't know all the answers but I do know that being a diabetic you have to eat the right way and watch what you eat. You have to do some kinda exercise which might be a little hard for you or not. I very sure some of my friends here on diabetic connect will answer you question with more information you can go on to make the right decisions you need tro make to get onto the right road. I will ,keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and hope everything turns out ok.
