I have so much to be thankful for. My doctor told me about 6 weeks ago that I needed to get my blood sugars down or go on insulin. I was determined not to do insulin yet so did a food journal, took my medication faithfully and kept good tabs on my blood sugar levels. It wasn't always fun but it became sort of a fun challenge and in 6 weeks I lowered it from 9.4 to 5.9. I vow to continue to take care of my health and urge all of us to do the same. Thanks for being here. Most people wouldn't understand that if they weren't diabetic.
