I have noticed over the past week as the sun goes down right around 1 to 2 hrs before dark my eye site gets real blurry kind of like looking through a glass makes me feel kind of dizzy and out of balance then when its completely dark it goes away and my eye site returns to normal and the dizzy out of balance feeling goes away. It never happens during the day time only at dusk.

whats your sugar? are you getting enough to eat? are you running high and skipping your snack? I was not getting enough carbs and was having that happen. Try looking at what your eating and see what you can add or remove to help..

I went for an eye test today the doctor gave me some eyedrops he seem to think it was due to the season. that my eyes were getting dry while I was outside at that time of day. I think theres more to it than a case of dry eyes my BS at that time of day when this happened was 130

Same problem ,Coyote. I found out I have cataracts caused by my year of uncontrolled diabetes. I can not drive from dusk on unless the eyeglasses come off! Got my new prescription glasses and can not see out of them at all. Good luck with your eye doc appointment.

Sorry to hear about your stroke and vision problems. We take so much for granted, like our vision and hearing. What would we do if we lost one tomorrow? Scary thought. I had cataract surg. earlier this year, and was amazed that it was painless. Amazing what they can do. Hope your's is successful and you recover quickly. Don't be sorry, this is the place to vent.

Time for an eye exam. Have you tested your bs when this happens? Perhaps you are hitting lows this time of day? Just a thought. Good luck.

I understand what your talking about, I have that feeling at dusk and thru the night time. Never had it before I became a diabetic either. It's time to go get my eyes checked Im one that always stays on top of these kind of things. Hopefully it's just time for new glasses. Hope you feel better Coyote.
