Just need a reality check here. Since being diagnosed with diabetes in May 08 I have tried my best to keep my sugars low. I have a 30 day average of 130, I have lost 25 pounds and continue to walk 2 miles a day and I eat NO sugar unless its in fruit. I am SO upset though if after I eat and I check my BG two hours later and its 158..even though that is considered in normal range??? Am I being too hard on myself?? What is considered "doing well"??? I have an appointment on Friday with my doctor and I am scared that she is going to give me bad news…HELP..am I crazy??
