I recently joined when my Dr. told me I had T1. I was a little confused and taken aback but today he admitted his error. I have T2. I went to a dietician, learned how to count carbs, the good, the bad, and the do not eat foods. I absolutely feel like today I could conquer the world with knowledge. LOL I got some great recipes that I will share shortly. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Way to go london. Attitude plays a big role in dealing with diabetes. Good for you for seeing the dietician and taking a pro-active role. Looking forward to your recipes.

I truly understand what your talking about London, when you say "you feel you can conquer the world." That's how I feel daily since I was told Im T2 also. I got kinda scared and as soon as I left the doctors office I got myself together and started to exercise daily. I feel great and can you please post some of your receipts so I can try them. The knowledge alone is great too especially on this site. All my friends are so kind and thoughtful and concerned, and that's how real caring friends should be. Keep up the good work!!!!
