Just had to start on diabetic medicine to add to my other 10 pills each day. I haven't ever watched what I eat and made it 6 years with just diet control. All of a sudden numbers were sky high. Does stress play a art in numbers for diabetics? I know it is time to wake-up and start taking care of myself just need to do it. Anyone with suggestions, please help.

Yes Im sure stress plays a huge roll in it daily. You've got to add some type of exercise to your daily routine to balance out everything. It was had for me but I thought about long term goals. I want to be around for my children, to watch them grow up.

Yes stress is hard on your BG's. I was
so stressed out that my BGL were like a
roller coaster ride. I went to the eye Dr. as I was having blured vision, he sent me to a specialist and was told that
I had bleeding behind the eyes due to
Diabeties. I had to have Lazer Surgery to
stop the Bleeding. So please try and lower your stress levvel, it will help you out in the long run. Dan

My life is moderately stressful as compared to mildly stressful two years ago and my numbers are extremely high. A lot of my problem is that I don't have the luxury of time to take care of my diabetes like I should due to the stresses in my life.

Stress plays a VERY big roll in your numbers. Watch what you eat and get out and walk or do some exercise to relieve some of that stress.
