I think it's the best thing for most people in the world to be able to wake up look out the window and see the leaves changing colors for the next season. Your daily routine is to take your blood sugar/ or meds and start your wonderful day. The next best thing is to be able to send emails all over the world to good friends on Diabetic Connect, just to see how everyone's doing. That's the good life!!!! Thanks friends for being there for me on a daily.

Yes, the changing leaves in the fall are beautiful. I myself am thankful for having green grass again. I live in Austin, TX and we have experienced the worst drought I can remember this year but it has been raining now off on on for about a month…

So I am thankful for leaves turning colors, beautiful green grass and for all my friends here on Diabetic Connect!!!! Karen

Are you trying to cheer me up? I haven't see the leaves change color for 43 years when I left New York!. Here in Arizona we have 4 seasons. 10 months of summer, 1 month of winter, and 2 weeks of fall and spring! lol.

But you are right on, no matter where you live. I just see the same green cactus, the beautiful Catalina and Rincon Mountains, and watch a road runner trying to catch a lizard.

Aint life grand? We all have so much to be thankful for.

Hey that still sounds like a great place to be for me. Especially when I live in Michigan where you have such cold winters, you can't wait for the spring to roll around, and the seasons to change quickly!! Where you live is on my list of nice places I want to visit.

Thanks for the reminder that we have to start each day anew, and appreciate all we DO have instead of dwelling on what we don't.
God Bless

Thanks for reminding us that LIFE IS GOOD! We all need that reminder especially on the gray fall day here.
