I am recently retired. My retirement medical benefits have a ceiling of $1500 that I reached in 6 months. I must have different insulins & synthroid to live. My wife is a teacher our income limited.

How do I get medications I need without going under financially?

Check out my entry about affording meds under the medication part of the discussions and you will hopefully get some help.

Boy, did your insurance wreak havoc when they limited you to $1500. A few bottles of insulin costs that much! Contact the companies on their customer service lines and let them know you need help. They have ways of getting meds to people who need help. Good luck!
