As part of an online learning collaborative for nurses, doctors, and health care professionals, we're collecting video-accounts, interviews, and narratives from people of what its like to not only live with and manage a chronic condition, but also to hear about your own hospital/doctor experience from a patient's perspective.
What approaches taken by your health care professional have you appreciated/helped you in your overall health plan? What are the barriers and frustrations you've tackled, dealt with, or are dealing with at the moment? What steps do you take to stay healthy?
If you want to be heard, we want to hear. Think of this as a platform to get your opinion out there and to help educate the medical world on how to best take a patient-centered approach to health care and diabetes care.
If this sounds up your alley, message me with a means to get in touch with you or ask any question here in this discussion and I'll be happy to expound.
Currently we're working out of Chicago, but if you're somewhere else we can work out an online video-chat interview.
Thanks! and good luck.
