Where and how do you store all your stuff?

I have type2 diabetes, as well as asthma, heart problems, fibromyligia, etc. Sometimes I think I cannot deal with one more problem, and one more comes up. But back to the topic, my medication plan sends 3 months of the diabetic supplies, 3 months of the asthma supplies, plus all the other meds. I just cant seem to find an easy way to store all of this potentially dangerous stuff in a place that is easy to access, yet make the supplies easy to store. Now, they stay in the boxes they came in, large as they may be, I can't find anything. So that has become overwhelming. As my asthma became super inflammed and I had to go on the dreaded pregnosone, my meter read HI every morning-scary stuff. I take so many needles in one day, it truely is depressing and adds to the stuff. But really, anyone have any idea on how to store so many different medications. I have tried many things, but nothing seems to work.

I use a plastic storage tub for my medical supplies for my ulcerated foot. My syringes are kept in a box with a lid [you could also have a tub]. My strips for the bg monitor are kept in the cupboard on the bottom of the lazy susan along with all my meds. There are no small children in my home but we do have cats and a dog, the cats are into everything.

If you saw the number of boxes I need to store, it would astound you. I have all my meds-2 full size plastic drawers, full on the shelf, boxes (6) of 100 pen needles, boxes of wipes, boxes of lancets, drums etc(diabetic piece) Now for the asthma-10 boxes of 1 med, 20 of another med, tubings, nebulizers and their cleaning supplies. Fibromyligia, I have more pens needle boxes, more wipes and cartridges. Theres more that escapes me, but it is so out of hand it is overwhelming. I am beginning to feel like a clinic. Dont get me wrong, I pray to God every day that I can afford my meds and supplies, but you have so many problems, it really begins to add up, and the space just is not there to store it. :P

I like the plastic tool box idea. At least for my asthma and diabetic supplies. The fact that you can lock it makes it ideal and I know home depot sells them very reasonably. Thanks
For the rest, I guess I can get more storage drawers, just the space is so limited, hard to find a place to put them. :)

I have a plastic tray that I keep those supplies I am using now. The other stuff gets put away in a cabinet.
A rolling cart is not a bad idea.

I agree - get a plastic rolling cart at any of the discount stores and you can have a drawer for each of the different types of meds you need to take. They can be labeled and rolled into a closet to keep out of sight.

Try to find a plastic storage bin. I had similar issues. My family bought a three drawer plastic bin. It's about 3' high by 14" wide, and about14" deep. Target, wal-mart etc. all carry wide selections of these products. Hope this helps. Good luck.
