I have noticed over the past few weeks anytime my blood sugar gets high I have bad back pain mostly in the lower back and the muscles in my legs hurt so bad sometimes it makes it hard to stand or walk. I'm not sure if its the high sugar that is causing my legs to feel worse than they usually do. Anyone else have this type of problem

I do all the time.. have a condition called diabetic neuropathy. a neurologist can check & confirm this for you. I also have degeneration disease to my back discs, which left me with multiple hurniated discs in my lower and middle back. I at first thought my feet and leg problems where all related to my disc disease until I was tested by a neurologist. thats when i found out about the diabetis and nuropathy had set in from it. It seams like a never ending cycle at times. more highs result in more pain and more pain results in more highs. I'm currently over due for my monthly pain shot in my back and my avg for my readings this past week is a 308 b/g reading average.

I use to have the same problem, when my BG's were high I would have piain in my lower back. Since keeping my BS's in control I rarely have any pain. Dan
