Thank you everyone for all of your support and messages. I work at a place where we have free meals. This week they are giving us special deserts all week. Yesterday there was coconut creme pie, chocolate creme pie, pineapple upside down cake and the list goes on. It was so tempting but I kept hearing all the thoughts in the back of my mind that I read on here that our health is worth it and we can't afford to not be careful. I only ate 1 piece of pie and when I took my bs when I got home it was only 137. Thanks for being here everyone.

Hello, Im of the school of thought that there is nothing out there that we cant eat as long as we watch our portions. I will eat some double fudge chocolate cake, but it might only be a bite full. "
Congrats on eating a bite only as you watched all those deserts pass by.
I know, its hard.
But its worth it in the long run.
Remember, you eyes, your kidneys, your extremities in that order, you would loose if you let your diabetes run amok.
