I am FULL!

And I didn't even eat at Taco Bell.

I have to say that one thing I have noticed since I have been eating healthier is that I actually get full. I started noticing it a few days ago about 3/4 way thru my salad, that it was really filling me up. That my veggies in the AM portions are getting smaller and filling anyway. How cool is that? All my years of dieting and this is a frist for me. I have read that when your body is getting the nutrients that it needs, it tells you to leave the rest. I do find that I get hungry later, but it doesn't take a meal to quell that feeling. I am so excited. Do any of you experience the same thing?

I can't eat salads too often because of gastro problems; I love them, but they don't love me.

If its a "salad," it has to be protein, i.e., chicken, turkey, tuna, so portion control is a must. Find that getting creative and pairing it with something like a rice cake or wasa (and I've even gotten to where I like that) is filling.

For dessert yesterday, we had angelfood cake with light coolwhip, strawberries, and blueberries - red, white, and blue!
