I am looking for some help with insulin pump therapy. I have bee using this thing for about ten years now and just started using the sensor that helps to regulate blood sugars. I am now wondering how I can afford to keep up with all of the supplies, as well as my regular perscription medications due to the economy and reduction of income. Any ideas? Looking for financial aid or coupons or offers that would help me out.

Boy, I wish that I had some great answers for you. About the only avenue I know about is to contact the manufacturers of your supplies and devices to see if they have a patient assistance program.

You are definitely in a tough spot. Your current treatment is the very most expensive treatment plan for diabetes. There are definitely ways to cut back your costs, but I don't know if you'd want to sacrifice any of the convenience you have right now with your pump and CGM.
