My bgs have been really unstable and high for me since I was so ill. Now that I am eating again, my bg's are up and suddenly down. I am so very thirsty all the time. I know that is from the diabetes but gosh, I cannot drink all night or I will pee the bed…lol

Your body is still healing and you will see some fluctuations until things are back to normal. The thirst is usually because of high bs. Diabetics take a LOT longer to heal from anything, not just a few days more, but triple or quadruple the time. Eat healthy, stay hydrated and keep physically active as much as you can tolerate. It will help. If you are really peeing most everything out, you might want something with electrolytes/minerals because your body needs them and too much water can actually unbalance your system. A few times a day should help some. Hope you feel better soon.

Thirst is usally a sign of high blood sugars. I think once your blood sugar get in better control you will notice a big difference…Debe
