Today i quit smoking …again i keep trying lol
i also want to let you guys know that my numbers are doing better my doctor told me to keep them between 90- 150 all the time so that is my goal
i have been really watching what i eat avoid ice cream even when everyone else has it
I have been making my own mixed nuts and eating alot of those…i am a snacker and theses and the cheese sticks work really well at keeping me full. Stress levels are always crazy lol working on it too…
Has any mom or dad used the flylady system to help organize and control life as well as diabetes?

Glad you are doing better. Hope you can quit smoking for good. I have tried those new Ritz crackers with real cheese and they are low in calories and fat, and low carbs (17 g carb total) and they have 3 g fiber and some protein. They are whole wheat.

Fly lady is a house organization, cleaning and general routine it works by starting out slowly it takes a month for most people to learn how to use it is under flylady.net if you want to look
i am trying to use it not only to keep my house up but for all the schedul crazyiness i have here

well my numbers are still in rang most of the time and getting my house in a good working order seems like it helps
i am someone who hates schedules and routines but now with diabetes and all the running i do with the kids i am having a hardtime getting everything done i need to so i am setting my self a goal that by the end of october i will have my house in order and running smoothly if i do then in november i am stopping again lol
i thank you all for your support i dont have alot here my husband is a able to contorl his diabetes with just using pills so he doesnt understand why i feel the way i do about taking it seriously and dropping my numbers
i know i will feel better so i keep trying just wish there was a loved one or close friends here to support me
but then that is why i joined here

im going thru same thing my mom who eats everything in site has lower levels than mine i eat rite hav low levels on wakeing but they spik to hi 200 to low 300 after breakfast dont no wat im doing wrong.

After 43 years of cigarettes, cigars and pipes (at one time 2 packs a day, a box of cigars a week and a pipe in between times) I quit cold turkey December 1, 1982. The really difficult part lasted 3-4 weeks. To this day I sometimes get the urge and second hand smoke smells sooo much better than it used to. Hang in there! I found by experience that once you are addicted there is no such thing as "one" cigarette. The only answer is "NONE".

I havent taken the big step on the smoking yet but soon .I gess taking care of my BS was the biger thing to fix first then I will get that one I can not take a lot of stress at one time lol
