at night when im trying to fall asleep my legs beginto hurt so bad i cant stand it does anyone else have this problem and should i tell my doctor

As said, statins can cause this. However, so can neuropathy which is a side effect of high blood sugar and potentially very dangerous, it's the leading cause of amputations in the world. So, absolutely you should tell your doctor and get evaluated. It would also be good to take control of your blood sugar you haven't already.

my doc put me on potassium chloride 10meg before bed time an that stopped the cramps an gen hurting
but you can ask the doc or eat a lot of bonanas a couple of hours before bed an see if that helps…

I can't stand the taste of bananas I have had dr that have tried to get me to eat them for many years I can not stand the taste of them no matter what I add to them they are still gross and my potasium level is fine

get some potassium sup. at the drug store an give it a try it might help i know my levels are good but if i dont take some at nite my legs will hurt an i will get cramps, it will only take a couple of nites to find out if it helps

will try anything already take to many medications for everything else wrong with me would be glad one was just a vitamin.

I also have pain in my legs when i discussed it with my doctor was put on requip for restless leg syndrom and it has helped.

i am not on anything for cholesterol and not on metformin and I have never ate bananas and never will I hate the taste of them
