Ok, I had surgery on my left knee July 14th and I am still in pt and taking pain meds for it. I have known from the start that I will also have to have it on my right knee but I have been putting it off. My right knee has started hurting real bad and is screaming for attention but I have to move and cannot do surgery right now. I wanted to wait til Spring if possible. Prayers please?

So sorry to hear you're in pain. Have you tried asking for Lidocaine patches from your doc? They are a topical analgesic that works for about 12hrs and helps with the pain w/o adding another pain med to the mix. They worked pretty well for my Dad following his knee surgery and I use them for my Bursitis. Prayers for a speedy recovery. God Bless-Becky

Thank you everyone for your support. No, I have never heard of Lidocaine patches. I will ask my doc. Thank you for the info.

Turtle, Sorry that you are in pain with your knee. It must be hard to have to move and be putting up with that pain at the same time. You will be in my prayers…Hugs, Karen
