When I found out I had Diabetes I accepted it because it runs in my family. That was 4 years ago. But a 1 1/2 ago my husband was diagonsed too. He would not accept it. His sugar was over 500. He would not change his life. One day he was holding his first new granddaughter, Angel in his arms. He looked at him and told him if he didn't change his ways he would never his Angel grow up. That day he started to work on it. I am happy to say that his sugar level are great. He knows that he must work on this every day, not just for himself but for our granddaughter. AN ANGEL TOUCHED HIS HEART THAT DAY. You can do it just try hard.

Welcome! I think most men are like that…it takes them finally admitting they aren't invincible b4 they will change. I have the same problem with my workoholic husband.
