if it is white dont eat it. a lot of chicken an turkey, most floor products will cause the bs to go up. i drink coffee with sugar in it an my # stay around 110 to 130 most of the time, any more i look at everything for sugar in it because they are putting it in almost everthing now just for taste, to sell more.. like katchup has 1 teaspoon in a small about of it like you would put on a hotdog or hamberger, most people dont know that…hope that helps

Besides a proper diet, exercise will help to lower blood sugar as well. Even a decent walk will help. But as many have said…low carb diet works very well. There are some great recipes on this website too, so take a look. Good luck.

Avoid all white - sugar, potatoes, bread, pasta, etc. Get a hold of the Glycemic index and try eating foods from the low level and that will help. Eat more veggies - brocolli, green beans, lettuce, cauliflower, onions, etc - but limit the starchy ones like peas, or corn. Good luck and keep working at it.

My doc gave me a couple. Drink plenty of water, if you are feeling high immediately drink 8 oz of water and follow up with more throughout the day up to at least 64oz. Another of course is excercise. With this one though you have to be careful. If you are really high…over 300, exercise can cause more harm by raising your blood pressure. Start out with just walking and then as it starts to go down try upping the intensity. This option doesn't really work that great for me since I have back problems and can't get really active. Sorry I don't have any other advice. When mine gets too high I just have to take more Apidra(it's a fast acting insulin injection)
