Heck I know the feeling being a new diabetic. I was shell shocked when I saw the price of them in the store. I don't have any insurance either at the time. I will try EBay also thanks!!

I also wanted to add that I seen someone in an older post saying that u can get free freestyle test strips by calling a certain number and I think it goes by your income. look thru the old posts and u will find it. I think I am gonna call to see what the guide lines are but my luck I will just be a little over what is aloud lol

I also buy mine on ebay, I have insurance but I pay for everything up front and then get reimburst some months later, so I am better of with ebay. I also think if u go look on ebay it is smart to see which test strips sell the cheapest and then maybe purchase the meter with the ceapest test strips. I hated buying all this stuff too, but quickly relize it isn't a choice anymore I have to have it.

Ebay....I don't have insurance either and I can't afford them. I buy mine from Ebay and have never had a problem with what I have purchased. Watch the expiration dates, but it is the best place I have found.

In order to help you, need to know what your meter you are using. your doctor may have free samples for your meter, you just need to ask
