I do not have the income for my meds and my seizure meds are really expensive. Ihave run out of them. I went to Walmart to see if they were on the 4.00 list and they have no seizure meds on the list. I am going to call my neurologist tomorrow and ask for samples again. She is in another town so I will have to work at getting them. Please hold me in your prayers that I do not start having seizures since I am without my meds.

This is a very serious problem…did you just run out? Sometimes your pharmacist will give you a few of your pills to get through until you can get some from your doctor. Please try calling your local Board of Health and explain your situation and ask if there are any services in your area available for someone in your situation. Also, there are older meds for epilepsy that do not cost as much. Is your meds expensive? My husband has to take three meds and they are very expensive but without them, he couldn't work or do anything else. Some drug companies will assist you. If you contact the manufacturer of your prescription and ask if they have any programs that would assist you. You might check with the epilepsy foundation for some directions. My prayers are with you.

Thank you everyone for your support. My payee sent me some money and I got the depakote Er but now I am out of Keppra, my other seizure med. I called my dr. office today to ask for meds but they did not have any and said to call back next week.

Gosh, I really hate to hear what you are going through. It must be so scary to be without those meds. I will be praying for you and that you can get the free samples just as soon as possible.
Blessings, Karen

I will keep you in my prayers.
Have you tried contacting the local Salvation Army or even your local County Assistance Office. Sometime they can help or steer you in a direction.
