Has anyone have headaches and buzzing in their head in relation to what their sugar is doing. My Doc says this not part of diabetes.

When my bg does go low, I get a dull headache. It is like a early warning sign to me…after I have a quick acting snack, headache goes away, thank heavens…Good Luck

Thanku for your replies. I've found I get more headaches when my sugar is high. I'm now diagnosed with brittle diabetes and doc took me off insulin. I react to much to it. without it my sugars after I eat are in the 2 to 3 hundreds. If I take 1 unit of insulin my sugar falls down to below 70. really frustrating.

I get migrains when my sugar is low. I don't want to eat during those times or do much of anything. My family makes me eat and usually the severity goes down within twenty minutes after eating and I'm back to myself. My doctor told me that headaches are part of diabetes but it depends on the person. When I get the migraines it's because I'm not eating enough or I'm missing some type of vitamin. Since I take multivitamins now the migrains have stopped and I only get headaches when I forget to eat, the severity is not as bad and the pain doesn't last for days like before.

The higher my sugar goes the more I get headaches. I call them my sugar headaches and they are painful reminders that I am off track and need to pay closer attention to my diet.
