Well, I just saw the notification about the evolving website. I hope to see some of you there, but I guess we'll have to wait and see. Thank you all for all the support and advice you have given me over the last several years. I don't know if I could have done it without y'all.

Hello Sue, I certainly hope you have been doing well. I don't come to this site much anymore myself, but through this site and my friends here I learned how to deal with my diabetes. Was doing well until another heart attack which nearly killed me, it seems a virus had attacked my heart taking me down to 20% of what my heart used to be. Had fluid on my lungs and feet, they took about 25 lb. of it off of me during the 4.5 days in the Hospital. Now wearing a defibrillator vest that is to shock me back to life should sudden death hit me. I know no one lives forever and someday something will get each one of us. You and others were good friends when we made our run at defeating diabetes, we didn't cure it but made it manageable. Good luck with your life and your endeavors.

of course not.
the lack of involvement by the "staff" here was a major issue and part of the reason for the dwindling participation. not that Gabby didn't try. I sense she got little support from the powers that be,
A shame. this was a really supportive community.
I'll miss you all
