Hi Everyone,
It's been along while since I have posted,
However I need some guidance. Lately my sugar levels have been low so I eat a peanut butter sandwich and a four ounce glass of coke. My level's rise to the point where I am physically ill . Had to leave work it so bad . What can I do to raise levels safely?

I agree with kimfing. Use glucose tablets so that you can meter your intake. The peanut butter sandwich and coke is going to send you over the top. Have you discussed these hypos with your physician? Your medication may need to be adjusted.

What kinfing says about the 15 grams of fast carbs wait 15 minutes and retest, if still low do another 15/15. I think this can be done 3 times. Anyway if your blood glucose normalizes eat some cheese or lunch meat or a boiled egg. Peanut butter is not bad but forget the bread.

Use the rule of 15, 15 fast acting carbs wait 15 minutes retest and if in safe range have protein to sustain blood sugar
