Any ladies out there type 2, going thru menopause, and experiencing higher than normal numbers with the hot flashes and sweats? My numbers are perfectly fine for a month or so and then my hot flashes come back with a vengence, like 15-20 an hour 24 hours a day, and my numbers are all out of whack. Then they calm back down when the hot flashes decrease to 10-15 a day. It's driving me crazy lol!

I can't speak for menopause, but every month for 1-3 days before my period my blood sugar jumps from a normal under 100 reading to 160+. I'd imagine the hormones are doing all kinds of crazy stuff to us.

oh yes Feb and the first of march were out of wack. I was eating right exercise and I was having hot flashes sweats etc. I thought I was done with that. Last three weeks everything back in normal range. Poor hubby was freezing because I turned the heater down to 60 at night and I was still hot.
