Hi
I was diagnosed with diabetes in April of last year. I recently just started having pain in my legs especially around the knee cap. It feels like I have restless leg syndrome. It sometimes goes to my hands and arms. Could this be diabetic nerve pain? I sometimes want to cry because it is so uncomfortable and it gets worse at night. Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

I had that problem with my legs when I was first diagnosed. My A1c was 13. It cleared up after I got my diabetes under control. However, since diabetes is not a one size fits all disease the best person for you to talk to is your doctor.

I just went through really bad leg cramping and was tested for Restless Leg Syndrome. I don't have that. However, you need to talk to your doctor not to people who are not doctors and cannot diagnose your problem.
