I came across this article on Facebook. It's worth reading it through, although it's a bit long; it opened my eyes to the role played by Pharmacy Benefit Managers in the increased cost of insulin.
I thought it worth sharing: http://harvardpolitics.com/united-states/how-...

With every medication I am prescribed, I go to the manufacturers website. All three of the insulin meds I take I get for $25.00 a month. Cannot be on government insurance. Private or company insurance or no insurance is okay to qualify.

Insulin (Lantus) has put me in the doughnut hole every December since I've been on Medicare. I'm clicking your link now, Lou.
