I have heard of type 1.5, and even the thoughts of a type 3 connected to electronics. But I did not know there was an actual Type3c diabetes due to trauma to the pancreas either by injury or by internal damage such as cancer or pancreatitis.

Then the next thing that shocked me was that doctors usually misdiagnose it as type 2. I would think it would test out like type 1. wow…

Here is the article on it. https://asweetlife.org/what-is-type-3c-diabet...

The article was very interesting to me. As I had mentioned in a post that I made I have no family or personal history of diabetes. It was not found and I was not diagnosed until after a heart attack about 4 months ago. Then about 25 years ago I was the victim of abuse where I was diagnosed to have bruising and trauma to all of my internal organs. After reading the article mentioned I am now wondering if my diabetes is caused from either the original trauma or even the heart attack or maybe a combination of both? I was diagnosed in type 2 but now am wondering if type 3c would be a more correct diagnosis. This might also explain why we are having such a hard time getting it under control now. I think I will be calling my doctor on Monday to discuss this. What would be everyone's opinion here?

I thought type 3 was being put forth as dementia caused by insulin resistance. Type 3c is Pancreatongenic diabetes. What is the connection of diabetes and electronics?
