I just don't know
I recently ate a meal without taking insulin (120 carbs) and my blood sugar level did not spike or rise. Also I didn't exercise after it I sat back and relaxed then tested it 2-3 hours later was perfectly fine. That just amazes me that I was fine I thought I should be high blood sugar. So I did another experiment today without taking insulin for 50 carbs and I was fine again so does anyone know why I am not rising? I am a type 1 was diagnosed earlier this year.

They never really told me what I had they just assumed I was type 1 to this day I can eat heavy meals without insulin theought the whole day I don't know what to do honestly
Could be time to visit the doctor and do a few more tests to make sure you were diagnosed correctly.
All kinds of possibilities here.
Still honeymooning maybe? Could you have miscounted dinner? Maybe the reading was wrong… they aren’t that great especially on the decently high or the low readings. Meal could have been high fat or protein. Both will delay and extend high carb meals for a longer period of breakdown.
Don’t make these experiments habit they will bite you for real.
I mean I wait 4 hours and it's down to 90 I'm just confused honestly
Even after 41 years as a Type 1, I often find this disease baffling and requiring constant adaptation.
That's really cool! I actually experienced this same thing just 4 years ago. The way I remember it is that I didn't use any insulin for food, and I didn't go terribly light on the carbs. Just regular eating, no insulin. The only insulin I was taking was basal insulin. At the time I was using a pump. I sometimes wonder if my insulin sensitivity just jumped for a few days. it did end up turning back the other way. I went back to normal. I have no real medical explanation for it. But you are not alone!
