I have now two instant pots. I have really been using it in the last 10 days. Been making healthy meals and soups. I have lost 4 lb;'s in the last 10 days without even trying. Been able to make meals in 10 16 minutes. Even hubby has been using it and he has lost weight too. Going to do a fresh pumpkin in it the next couple of days. Tomorrow going to do a frozen turkey breast that the recipe says it will be done under 45 minutes. Last sunday made yogurt in it and hard boiled eggs.. The eggs only took 5 minutes. Perfect and the shell peeled off so easy. This is my new way of cooking

I was looking at the one that Wolfgang Puck has and the reviews of it were not that great. I just read reviews on Amazon. I have decided that I do not need to make a complete meal in 16 minutes. Depending on the size of your Turkey Breast it may not be done in under 45 minutes. My Nu Wave oven says I can cook frozen meat in it. Tried it according to the directions and the chicken was not done so I cooked it an additional 15 minutes and it was done. Quick, fast and in a hurry when it comes to cooking is not for me. Besides there is nothing like the smell of a roasting turkey, pot roast or pie in the oven. You can make healthy meals on a stove, in an oven or a slow cooker. It all depends on the ingredients and the side dishes.

I don't have an instant pot, but I did invest in an air fryer and like it very much. I haven't used it a lot yet, but it's been a not summer here. As the weather cools down, I'll be cooking more. Tell me about your instant pot.

I have a cousin who got one for Christmas last year and he loves it. Another cousin just bought one and he loves his. Now that I would consider buying if I had room for it. I am giving away my George Forman Grill but keeping my Rotisserie, Nu Wave Oven and Slow Cooker.

I just got a phone call from my son and said he ordered me an air fryer as a belated bday gift. I hope I will like it

I really enjoy the IP. I now have a 3qt and a 6 qt. Hubby bought the 3 quart 10 days ago and I have been using it almost every day. Its a pressure cooker, crock pot, ricer, You can bake, proof bread, make oatmeal saute/brown in it. make yogurt which I did last Sunday. Was easy an this way I know what is in it. Hubby is even using it. He made beef broccoli that only took 12 minutes, The other day he made spaghetti sauce with sausage and put a whole box of ziti and everything was cooked in 10 minutes. I roasted turkey legs and wings yesterday and then put them in the IP and cooked it pressure for 30 minutes and then made gravy. It was a test run for when I go to my brothers for thanks giving. I bought one for them last April. cooked 4 lbs of mashed potatoes in 8 minutes. Cooked rice in 10 minutes. cooked taco meat in 10 minutes. I just put meat onion seasoning water and 10 minutes all done. My family say it taste better when I use the IP. They feel the pressure infuses the seasoning and taste more flavorable. Kohls have it on sale right now, Hubby got mine on Amazon. Wal Mart has the 3 and 6 quart. I like the 6 qt Duo but if I had to get one now I would get the 6qt ultra. If you want to make a large batch to freeze etc. There is all kinds of recipes on line and face book and there is a Instant Pot community that share how to make things or trouble shoot etc.

I might look into it when I get my car paid off next month (Yay!) It might make a good gift for my daughter too. It would really help her cut down on cooking time after a long day at work.

I wish I had one when I was working and my kids were little. I just found out two weeks ago I will be a great grandmother in May or June. My grandson wants one and his wife would like to make baby food in it. Would make a great gift for your daughter since she works.
