my diabetes

My parents are both type 2. I was on the phone with them tonight and was asking them about a particular medicine. They said I didn't need it. Am I right in saying that my diabetes isn't the same as their diabetes.

Hey doglover, very interesting post. I often have this conversation with clients. They may have a friend or a family member with the same condition who has all kinds of advice on what they should or shouldn't be doing, often accompanied by a scary story or an over-promise. One size pretty much never fits all. Nice to see you!

What works for one may not work for all. It's best to have this discussion with your Dr and find the right meds for you.

Yes you are correct. Type 2 is not a one size fits all disease and any medical needs you have should be discussed with your doctor.
