I am a former dialysis patient. I now had a transplant. I can help you with any question you might have. First I hope you are seeing a nephrologist. Second I would say to get a consult from your MD for a dietian to go over a renal diet with you. I have many diet sheets on renal diets and sheets for Protein, Phospherous and Potassium, things you really need to watch. I am here for you and will help you anyway I can…Debe

Sorry to hear about your impending dialysis. When I worked with end stage renal patients many year ago kidney centers providing dialysis had to have a registered dietician to assist kidney patients with their very challenging diets. I would ask the nephrologist who is going to oversee your dialysis if there is a dietician with the kidney dialysis center. Keep us posted on your journey.
