I have been on victoza and meformin for years and lately my aic has gone to 8.7 my sugars are high at night and in the morning but other times ok I think medicines cause thisbut doctors dont agree Anyone else have thishappen to them I do watch what I eatandmy snack in afternoon is unsalted nuts and sugar free chocolatchips and doctors say okay if watch my amount If aic dont come down he will try insulin but is confused as why sugars are not that high thanks

Perhaps another A1c test in in order. Labs are not infallible and maybe the test was not correct or had a mess up in it. I would ask for that first. When you say high at night and in the morning, how high are you running? If you are having prolonged high numbers over night, they can contribute to a higher A1c even if your daytime numbers are good. Maybe even changing when you take your Victoza might help. I am not sure how it functions, but that could be something to ask your doctor.

Thanks for the input The doctorwont doanother test for 3 months but am starting to take victoza at night so hope that helps How are your sugars
