Try to add some extra protein to your meals. Lean meat is the best but I use beans too although then you have to substitute carbs for the carbs in the beans.

The fat and protein in meat along with vegetables and other 'good' carbs like whole grains, fruit, and dairy help maintain good blood sugars.

Do not try to bring a low back up with sugary foods unless it's extremely low. (4 oz regular soda, orange juice etc) because the sugar will make it crash faster the next time. Once it's back to normal, milk is a good way to keep it there and then also eat a light meal.

I've had lows all my life with hypoglycemia so I am speaking from experience.

Good Luck!
