Sept. Diet and Exercise 2009

I am starting this new month early as I will be going upto Michigan on the 31st. I am hoping to keep my BS down while up there. After my Drs. Appt. on the 31st of Aug. I am heading up to Oscoda and staying there thru the night of Sept. 8th and then dog sitting for one of my Neice's and will get lots of exercise in as I will be walking Max every morning and evening while up there with him.
Please come join us and give all of us your Input on anything you happen to read here this Month. Thank You for your time in this matter for all of us and From All of Us.

P.S. I just found out this morning that Max can't walk very far at all any more so I will go for walks around town by my self who knows I may bump into old School friends while out walking. Lets hope so.

Tammy I am sorry you are having trouble with the Insurance Co. and that the Dr is having trouble getting you on something that will help you get your A1C down where it needs to be.
I will call you later today.

When to dr today lost 3lbs not much ugh. My a1c is 6.8 needs to be 6.5-7.0. I really do not know what all these numbers mean.Insurance c keeps turning down all med dr outs me on ugh. So i have to call them.So i have to go back to dr in 3 weeks.

ask your insurance co for there lest of med that are app and what tear they are for your co pay you might be able to down load them i do this every year when i have to renew to make sure i am paying the right co pay? good luck
ps my june A1C sas 8.9 and sept was 6.9 stoped all pasta potatos rice and all bread but my e muffens in the am asnd have so fare lost 25 lb.

Ok here is my numbers from the 21st of Sept to Sept.27th
On Sept.21st @6:33 am BS was 158 then @ 1:11 it was 149 not bad for that day.
the 22nd they were @ 5:50 am 108 then @ 8:52 pm 226 don't know what happened there.
on the 23rd @7:37 am 114 then @ 6:05 pm 178 after Supper.
Didn't check it on the 24th. I was a bad girl that day it seems. Sorry!
on the 25th I only checked it @ 9:06 pm 178
on the 26th @ 6:56 am 87 Real Good that one @ 4:39 pm 197 and @ 7:13 161 went up but came back down again. and last but not least Yesterday @ 9:15 am 112 then @ 8:01 276 After we ate supper. Bill cooked it this time mostly fat it seemed like. Corn swimming in butter Mashed potatoes with butter and milk then beef baked with standing grease on the pan when pulled out. I had peaches for bedtime snack. in light syrup.
If some one sees the problem here let me know what you think I can do to get on the right page and bring those numbers back down again.

Well Yesterday I went to the Gym and overdid it again. I hit stop on the tred mill just as my right let let go and got a treadmill burn on my right leg and knee it sure hurts today.
Had some chest discomfort as well so sat out for about 45 mins till my son got off work and then came home not going to the gym today. Still some chest discomfort today but not as bad. Will walk to the corner and back later if feeling better then.
My BG levels have been up I know its from the stress of starting over on my different sites and can't get into most of them so will not worry and just join a few I really love to look at.
Have to run for now.

I am so busy right now trying to get intouch with all of my Family and Friends that my Yahoo Account was hacked into and am haveing to change everything daily so as not to get hacked into again that right now I am not posting as I should. Thanks Tammy I asked my Daughter Mary to send me an invite to Facebook and she had all of the Family I had on mine so I got those all sent back out invites to the Family and some friends. Trying to make new Friends too. LOL

I am having trouble using my internet at home as Yahoo has froze my page because some one has hacked into my Yahoo Account and sent all of my email friends a scam asking for money saying I was in the United Kingdom and needed money to get home.
The funny thing is I have never been to any place outside of the United States. So if any of you are in my email address book please reply that they can take the need for money and stick it as I am at home no where else. The only way I travel by plane is with a round trip ticket like I did to Alaska back in 2006.

Thankyou for stopping this before it gets to some one who will send money and tell them no more spams. You can hit spam on the email and let Yahoo take care of it please and Thank you very much.

could not find sept so i put this on aug but will now post (i like to show off )
ilost 20 lbs
took 20 points off my coles 140 to 120
and my A1C went from 8.8 to 6.9

Your are doing a great job. We are all very proud of our Friends when they can get a handle on our Diabetes. Let us in on your secret so we can do as well as you and Gabby both seem to be doing. This last week I was staying with Sandy and Christine in Oscoda,MI and they only eat 2 meals a day Brunch and Supper also Sandy likes to control what and how much some one eats and when they eat it. She had my poor body wondering what time it was never had meals at same time any two days in a row.
Katrina and Charles are due back home sometime today so I will be heading back home either today or Tomorrow can't wait to get back. Katrina's Dog Max has been a good boy every time I open the door and had my car keys in hand he was out the door before I had a chance to decide to let him go or stay so I had a traveling compamion the last 3 days. Only once had to make him get out of the Driver's seat If I had had my camera I would have gotten his picture sitting there with his paws on the sterring wheel like he was the driver. Crazy dog he was so much fun though the last few days. I left the back door open for him to come in and out as he pleased and he kept looking to see if it was still open or not.Well it is almost time to take my meds this morning and give Max his as well. He needs Joint Medication and asprin so he can walk daily. With out the Joint med. he drags his hind quarters the back right let just drags with out it. He is 15 years old that makes him 105 in dog years so I guess he has the right to be slow and have trouble walking and hearing me I had to lead him yesterday as he was going the wrong way to the car. I pulled up in Front of the House when we got back and he went straight to the house and inside. Well this is getting lenghty so I will close for now. Talk more to you all tomorrow from home bye bye.

in june the dr told me i mite also have cancer ! but after having a colin ex they told me i was a perfect ass !!!! but it was all i needed to kick me in the ass. so i stoped all potatos , rice , pasta , and most of my bread. in am i have one or two e muffins and p butter or butter.lunch i have a salid or frute. and dinner i still have some kind of meat and a salid . i also started going to the gym 3 or so times a week.if a snack is needed i have frute . that simpal hahaha i miss my taters and pasta!

roger your doing fine sometimes alittle bit of something your hungry for won't hurt you just eat small helping of it and go on from there. I do that and I feel better.

I just got the results from my last lab report and all the calorie counting and exercise is paying off. My A1c dropped from 7.3 to a 6.2! I lost a total of 8 pounds (not as much as I hoped, but better than gaining!) I also reduced my triglycerides by another 36 points and I have 37 more to go to reach goal. My cholesterol also went down some more and my LDL is 78, over all cholesterol is down to 153.

I am happy, my doctor is happy....yeah! So keep up on the exercise and keep watch on the foods. It all pays off.

If you have a tredmill then you have your own gym at home and as for the exercises I will send you the Virtual Trainer I use during the winter I am also going to continue to use her year round on the days I don't want to go to the gym. If you have some one that can spot for you just have them post each day that you did what exercised and how long you did them that is how you can verify how much you do each day. LOL if not just post your own and let us know what you are doing.

I have been giving this alot of thought and I have decided to add a section on here for this month and see how it goes for us. When I get home I am going to the Gym on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I will be working out for 30 mins each day with 15 mins. on either the Tred mill or the Bike and then the other 15 mins on the Machines and at the end of Sept I will weight my self and see where I am then and each month after that I will do the same anyone wanting to join me please do and we will see how we are doing the end of each month. I will have some one sign my log sheet showing that I have made it to the Gym each day and spot me then walk with Bingo at the Mall on Tues, Thurs and maybe Sat. He will let you all know if I keep this up each day, to keep me honest OK. As Bingo is not to get alot of exercise because of his heart I will have him along to mainly make sure I am exercising. He has been a great Friend over the years and we have known each other for about 10 now.

Good Morning All;
Just a few lines to say I am glad that my Dog sitting has finally started today and It is so quiet that I can finally hear myself think.
On the way up from Indiana I stoped in Eaton Rapids to check on my Aunt and Uncle only to find that both have died and their house has burned down last Year. Uncle Les died 6 Months after the last time I visited them and Aunt Helen died shortly after their Home burned down just over a year ago and she died last year. Then I got ot talk to one of my Step Sisters just this past Sunday and found out that a Brother-in-law died on Feb. 25th this year. Hopefully she stays in touch now that we have found each other again.

Well now that I have caught everyone up on my news just since I left home here are my numbers and the results of what I learned at the Drs. on the 31st.
My weight is donw to 262.5 and my numbers are as follows for each day starting with the 31st.
Mon.Aug 31 @ 6:51 it was 149 then @ 7:42 pm it was 225 after an 8 hour trip and snacking on the way up.
on Tues.the 1st of Sept it was 154@3:38 am then @ 7:50 it was 80 on Wed. 2nd @ 8:50 it was 117 and at 8:37 pm it was 110 on the 3rd @ 8:19 am it was 218 and then @ 8:42 it was 128 on the 4th Fri. @ 7:53 am it was 107and then @6:04 pm it was 138 on Sat @ 7:43 am it was 82 and then @ 9:39 pm it was 90 on Sunday the 6th @ 8:55 am it was 123 and @ 6:32 it was 205
ON Monday the 7th @ 7:01 it was 87 and then @ 1:15pm it was 68 and @ 5:33 pm it was 123 Yesterday on the 8th @ 11:49 it was 85 and then @ 5:33pm it was 69 @ 9:02 it was 185

On Sat. and yesterday I took off to visit old Friends in the Area I am going to try to find Joyce from on here I tryed yesterday but I don't remember where she said her house was. I am going to reread alot of old notes on here and try to locate her before the week is out and get a picture of us together to post on here. Will write more tonight after I get all of my numbers for today.
