I currently use a Cozmore insulin pump, which will be discontinued after the 4 year warranty expires (for me in 2 years). Two questions: Does anyone use one where they traded in their old pump for a $500 credit? Also, I've had HORRIBLE experiences with MiniMed and will not ever do business with them again. Does anyone know of a pump that's good and most importantly, the tape doesn't come off when you go swimmimg?

I have been on the Animas Ping for 45 months love it! it's waterproof and the tape doesn't come off!! it's also the most technically advanced pump on the market with the smallest of increment dosing! can't say enough. If you have any ? just ask. Lisa…

hello irene and how are you? i use the mini-med and i never had problems with the pump. i have the new one paradigm 522, i had the older one, the warranty was out. send it back and they gave me credit for that one. when the warranty was out the pump wasn't working right and i called them about it and they send me a replacement til the new one came. the new one works great.

Look into the Omnipod (myomnipod.com). They are doing a trade in for people in your situation and has the added bonus that it's tubeless and entirely waterproof so you should have no issues swimming.
