Hi!

I wish I had some advice to give you other then what the others have said. There is one tip I can pass on to you though. I have found when I take antibotics that I tend to develop yeasts infections… I was told that this is common with diabetic women. So when I am put on antibotics I will add yogurt to my diet and this seems to help balance things out.

*hugs*

Judi

By all means you need to talk to your doctor. You sound a lot like me. I am very prone to getting infections. My blood sugar is under control, but I get infections just like that. All I can do is to make sure I keep the area clean and let my doctor know if it gets worse. Best wishes

WELL IAM AROUND KIDS ALL THE TIME AN YOU KNOW WHAT THEY BRING IN. MY HEART DOC GAVE ME A SCRIP FOR AUGUMENTON WHICH IS AMOXICIAN AN CLAV TABLETS WHICH IF I FEEL SOMETHING I TAKE ONE AT NITE AN 1 IN THE MORN, MORE IF THE PROBLEM DOESNT GO AWAY. MY DOC TRUSTS ME THAT I WONT OVER DO IT. I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR 10 YEARS. IT SURE KEEPS A LOT OF CRAP OUT OF THE BODY. AN WITH FEMALES YOU HAVE TO KEEP THE DOSE LOW AN A LONG TIME BETWEEN DOSES WHEN YOU HAVE TO TAKE THEM…OTHER WISE YOU WILL HAVE OTHER FEMALE PROBLEMS. BUT IT DOES KEEP THE INFECTIONS AWAY OR VERY SHORT…

If you can't always wash your hands then keep the antibacterial non water solution with you to "wash" with. Are your sugars under control? When mine aren't I don't heal as well. Also try using liquid bandages over the sore areas. It helps to keep them clean and niot quite as itchy, Good luck.
