I have an idea for you, Super B Complex. Our B vitamins are water soluble which means we either urinate or sweat them out. We need these vitamins as they are our STRESS vitamins, they are good for stress, hair loss, energy etc. Sustained release is best because this will make sure you have them going throughout your body all day if u take them in the morning. If you are getting enough good sleep, eating well, exercising and taking supplements you should have energy. Do not skip meals, feed your body with good organic foods. I find if I eat a complex carb along with a protein at every meal my blood sugars remain stable. Hope this helps you feel more energy. Good luck to you.

Hello, Please see your doctor. Diabetes is a progressive illness. It will progress and in time advance. That may mean more meds, Different meds, higher doses of meds, More exersise, better control of your diet to keep stable. If you notice your numbers are getting higher, please seek out your doctor and have a sit down as it sounds like you either need your meds updated or your life style more controled.
I hope it all works out for you.
Best of luck.

Yes this is true too. I have a girlfriend with diabetes and she quit talking to me for nearly 3months. I could not figure it out, what had I done, yet I did not want to bug her nor be a big baby about this. So, I just gave her space. When this silence started going into the 4th month I called her and lo and behold she had been depressed, her dr raised her anti depressant and OMG she is doing Great now. We are in the Holiday season and she has Not been depressed once this season when in many years past she slid down to the bottom of despair every single year. So Yes u r right, it can be due to depression. I will also suggest this as a once stay at home mom with my own kids. Life can be overwhelming, Moms can really become exhausted from giving and giving and giving and giving until they are all given out. Take time for YOU. Do Not forget You are just as important and without You being well rested and Pampered yourself you will have no energy left for anything. You have to Get IN and Not Give Out continually it will take it's toll on you mentally, physically and spiritually. Hope this helps you.

Hi Welcome aboard! It is nice to have you here. Just a thought, if I had 5 kids, I think I would want to sleep all the time too. I agree with everyone here. Get strict with your carbs and see your doctor.

Welcome aboard. You will find good friends and good advice, in about equal measure, here. The main thng is that we've all been where you are. Some of us remember better, or it was more recent, but for whatever reason we are always ready to help.

I have problems with being tired, too. My blood sugars are all over the place so it isn't always from being to high, with me. I talked it over with my doctor and he put me on a medication to increase my energy. It had nothing, specific, to do with my diabetes but it does get me out of bed and keep me going through the day. you may need something similar, at least until you get a handle on the blood sugar thing.

Not a recommendation, just a thought. I would recommend that you discuss this problem with your doctor, as others have already said. There are so many options out there and a good, knowledgeable, doctor should have a handle on most, if not all, of them.

I have been in your position before and the only way to sleep less during the day is to get your bs under better control which I might add is not easy. BE more vigilant about your carb counting and and ask your doctor is there is any diabetic education or support groups available to help you through this rough time. Good luck.

Hi crazymomma, welcome to the forum. I'm fairly new myself. First thing to do is talk to your doctor about this. Now, that i have said that..lol. I can tell you that when my sugars are high I also want to sleep all the time. Maybe they need to change your meds. Just a few ideas.
