Has anyone found a cure or treatment for Periphyal Neuropothy? I have found this to be the most uncomfortable and painful part of my Diabetes. I have tried everything I've heard of, and so far nothing is helping. Please help. This is what I take, 75mg Plavix, a blood thinner, (1x day), an 81mg asprin, (1x day), Lyrica 100mg 3x a day, also, Mirapex 0.25mg 2 a day. I still have a lot of pain.

I've had good luck with Alpha Lipoic Acid
my current dose is 600mg a day but I'm thinking about going to 1200mg daily.

I still have numbness around my toes but the shooting pains are gone. If you google alpha lipoic acid diabetes it will bring up a lot of info.

I've added the lipoic acid as well, hard to say what it has done directly, but the more I read about it the more I make sure i'm using it!

For quick, short-term relief, I also had success doing a foot bath with sensibly hot water and mustard powder to help stimulate circulation.

I've had good results with an intensive vitamin regime. I found it in a book by Dr. Julian Whitaker called "Reversing Diabetes." It's on Amazon and well worth the very affordable price. It will take at least six months to feel big changes, but they're lasting for me!

I HAVE FOUND THAT A ASPIRIN 325MG A DAY HAS HELPED IT HELPS THE BLOOD TO FLOW AN KEEP THE FEET FULL OF BLOOD AN ALIVE. THE THING YOU HAVE TO LOOK OUT FOR IS THINNING OF THE BLOOD, WHICH I CHECK EVERYTIME I STICK MYSELF WHEN CHECKING MY BS. 1 A DAY DOES THE TRICK FOR ME.. BUT CHECK WITH YOUR DOC AN SEE WHAT HE SAYS.. MY HEART DOC TOLD ME TO TAKE THEM TO HELP WITH THE BLOOD FLOW…
