I've suffered from really bad pain in my left thigh for a 5-6 years now, an intense burning sensation like a flame or a blow torch held directly up to my left thigh that has gotten progressively worse. It's nearly unbearable when it really get going or if i stand too long in one place.
Also have had a bad aching in my lower legs for the last year and half, then after being diagnosed Type II noticed more pain in lower legs and now foot pain that's real bad at night.
I'm going to ask the Neurologist if the left thigh pain was an precursor or indication that I likely was pre-diabetic for 5-6 years.
To add insult to injury I also have really bad headaches, I think they are called tension headaches or migraines they start in the neck and kinda crawl up to the head. I also see bright spots of white light and colored spots of light when they are going to happen.
So…anyhow I'm gonna wear this guy out today and make him earn his money. Put that degree from Pakistan to good use with me today. I'm going to ask a ton of questions and I hopefully will get some answers on the Diabetic Neuropathy and Nerve Pain in my legs and feet, and get some insight on the headaches which I've had for probably the last 6-7 years.
I've had excellent luck with the Indian and Pakistani Doctors I've encountered over the last few years. They seem very well educated and don't presume anything. Actually exceptional medical practitioners in my opinion. Very thorough Dr's and good bedside manners.
Wish me luck
