I've suffered from really bad pain in my left thigh for a 5-6 years now, an intense burning sensation like a flame or a blow torch held directly up to my left thigh that has gotten progressively worse. It's nearly unbearable when it really get going or if i stand too long in one place.

Also have had a bad aching in my lower legs for the last year and half, then after being diagnosed Type II noticed more pain in lower legs and now foot pain that's real bad at night.

I'm going to ask the Neurologist if the left thigh pain was an precursor or indication that I likely was pre-diabetic for 5-6 years.

To add insult to injury I also have really bad headaches, I think they are called tension headaches or migraines they start in the neck and kinda crawl up to the head. I also see bright spots of white light and colored spots of light when they are going to happen.

So…anyhow I'm gonna wear this guy out today and make him earn his money. Put that degree from Pakistan to good use with me today. I'm going to ask a ton of questions and I hopefully will get some answers on the Diabetic Neuropathy and Nerve Pain in my legs and feet, and get some insight on the headaches which I've had for probably the last 6-7 years.

I've had excellent luck with the Indian and Pakistani Doctors I've encountered over the last few years. They seem very well educated and don't presume anything. Actually exceptional medical practitioners in my opinion. Very thorough Dr's and good bedside manners.

Wish me luck

Well…first let me say that I was not in a real great mood to begin with, I was hurried to get there and upset…you all know the story. When it rains it POURS.

I drive an hour to get to the medical complex, looked for a parking place way to long. I get up to the Dr's office and the office manager says "You're late, the Doctor probably wont see you" the appointment girl goes and speaks with the Dr. and comes back and says "No, you'll need to reschedule the appointment"

I plead my case "But I've waited almost 4 weeks for this appointment and just drove an hour to get here…can't you help me!"

Office Manager says: "You're appt was for 1:00 and it's now 1:15, you were late plus you had paperwork to fill out"

The rest of what transpired…was not pretty. She asked me if I wanted to make another Appointment, and I went over and smashed the elevator button and got inside and began cursing loudly all the way down to the ground floor

Best of luck to you. Be persistent in getting answers, I think I've been waiting too long for mine. I hope he can do something to alleviate the pain—I know how frustrating it can make everyday life! God's blessings!
