I'm thirsty too

I too am always thirsty although it may be dry mouth from my medications because my blood sugars are well under control usually about 105 when fasting, 115 after eating. What do I do about this? I am constantly drinking water, but I can only drink so much before I get full, and I am still thirsty.

It's probably one of your meds giving you dry mouth. Try to suck on a sugar free hard candy once in a while. Or chew sugar free gum. It seems to help a friend of mine. Don't forget to discuss it with your doc next visit.

Tried those; they, like the water will help temporarily, but nothing seems to work for long. I have even bought some Bioteen, but it still doesn't seem to be much help either.

Not sure about being thirsty but may I suggest using Ice Tea and crystal light type drink mixes. Better than soda for you. Also, are you in control of your blood sugars? I notice that I myself tend to drink alot also, but when My BS are out of control, I have a thirst that I cannot quench. Good luck.

I actually don't drink much other than water or unsweetened tea. As for my BS, they are pretty well under control; my latest A1C was 6.0.
