I just realized that I had not introduced myself and I've posted twice already! I live in Georgia, at the base of the Appalachians. I'm Type 2 Diabetic, and I also suffer from asthma, polycysctic ovarian sydrome, depression, and neuropathy. Hmmm…I don't think I missed anything. Anywho, I take a boatload of medication daily. I work as a paraprofessional in a small county school system, am married and I have a 10 yr old daughter. I'm glad I found this place…with so many other online support groups out there for everything imaginable, I didn't think I'd find one that is so friendly and with so much information. Methinks I'll work on being around here more often. :o)

Wecome to this site as it is very helpful and you learn LOTS! I too did not have a SAFE place to post my feelings and questions. I have copied some of the articles re-diabetis, what and how much to eat, etc. and put it into a folder so I can feel more in control of this disease!

Glad to have you aboard, Karen!! Pat Roth

Welcome to the site, we are glad you found us too. We can always use another friend in the battle. I too, found this site to be a life saver. I had no idea where to turn when I was diagnosed and I have learned so much and made some great lifetime friends as well.
I'm glad you jumped in and posted, that is the best way to get involved and I am excited to have another voice of experience on board.
